Two mill crews and two pave crews spent a couple of days working on this project in June of 2017. It was a hot day but the team worked hard to complete the project on time and within budget.

Montgomery, IL – Excavation

Services Performed:

At Home Depot, asphalt was removed and replaced with concrete to increase durability and prolong the lifespan of the pavement.

8" Asphalt Mill

Asphalt was removed with a milling machine to expand 3,540 square feet of parking lot.

Concrete Pour

CA-6 subbase and 8 inches of concrete was replaced.

4,000 square feet of asphalt patching was done on existing asphalt pavement.

Chicago, IL – Concrete Work

Services Performed:

The Rabine Paving utilities crew worked on these two projects consecutively one day. One was sidewalk work outside of a commercial building, while the other was at a residential location and included ADA panels.

Concrete Removal

The broken sidewalk was cut, removed, cleaned out and fenced off so that pedestrians were not at risk.

Concrete Pour

The Rabine Paving team poured concrete and smoothed it out to perfection.

ADA Panel Installment

The team installed compliant ADA panels neatly and efficiently.

Schaumburg, IL – Spancrete & Paver Block Install

Services Performed:

Spancrete and paver blocks were chosen for this project because it was a spot that retained water resulting in damage to the existing pavement. Spancrete and paver blocks both have allow water to drain through the pavement. This project was done at the Rabine Paving headquarters.

Remove

The team removed concrete in two locations to replace with Spancrete and paver bricks.

Spancrete Installment

Spancrete Replenish is installed by Rabine Paving and Spancrete team members. Precast permeable pavement panels are laid and provide stormwater infiltration and flood management.
